Job Summary
The Junior Share Operation Officer is responsible for assisting in providing swift responses to shareholder requests and inquiries, maintaining share transaction records and shareholder accounts, allocating dividends, processing share transfers, and delivering share certificates.
Key Functions & Responsibilities
Provide the required assistance in all activities of the work unit.
Properly maintain important files and records and make them available when required.
Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency work practices.
Adhere to the internal control system and risk management program of the Bank.
Participate in developing, reviewing, and implementing policies, procedures, plans, budgets, and performance reports of the division.
Originate transaction entries and vouchers, and countersign on vouchers for share transfers, dividend payments, tax schedules, share selling, and other transactions.
Maintain proper recording of share transactions, the share registration book, and custody of all shareholder documents, including share certificates and other information.
Prepare drafts for share certificates, check their accuracy after production, and deliver them to appropriate shareholders.
Prepare dividend allocation reports and other reports, and encode dividend data from the general ledger to spreadsheets.
Perform other related duties as required.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Education
BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, Business Administration, or any other related field.
Experience
1 year of relevant banking experience.

Strong administrative and record-keeping skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
