Job Summary
The Export Manager (or Senior Export Professional) manages and oversees the end-to-end export process for coffee and sesame, from sourcing and preparation to shipment and delivery. The role ensures full compliance with Ethiopian export regulations, coordinates international logistics and trade finance (such as LCs and CAD), and handles bank loan and trade-finance processes to facilitate smooth export operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the complete end-to-end export lifecycle for coffee and sesame, covering sourcing, preparation, shipment, and final delivery.
Ensure full compliance with Ethiopian export laws, customs requirements, and international trade regulations.
Coordinate international shipping, freight logistics, customs clearance, and comprehensive export documentation (contracts, invoices, packing lists, and certificates).
Manage international banking and trade finance procedures, including Letters of Credit (LC), Cash Against Documents (CAD), and export-related bank transactions.
Handle and follow up on bank loan and trade-finance documentation and facility requirements.
Identify and explore new international markets and business opportunities.

Educational Background:
Bachelor''s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
Work Experience
Minimum of
5+ years
of professional experience in export/import operations, with strong practical expertise in coffee and sesame exports.
Required Skills & Competencies
Comprehensive knowledge of Ethiopian export procedures, customs requirements, and international trade regulations.
In-depth understanding of international trade finance (LC, CAD, and export banking).
Proficiency in shipping, logistics, customs clearance, and export documentation systems.
Strong ability to manage multiple shipments and meet strict deadlines.
