Job Summary
The Cybersecurity Presales Engineer acts as the technical bridge throughout the sales and business development lifecycle. The role involves analyzing customer infrastructure, designing end-to-end cybersecurity architectures, conducting product demonstrations, and preparing rigorous technical proposals, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and tender responses in close collaboration with sales, technical, and vendor teams.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture:
Design end-to-end cybersecurity solutions and security architectures for networks, data centers, endpoints, cloud environments, and enterprise systems.
Customer Engagement:
Conduct technical discovery meetings, site assessments, and impactful cybersecurity product demonstrations to address client objectives and challenges.
Tender & Proposal Management:
Analyze RFPs, RFQs, and tenders; prepare comprehensive technical responses, compliance matrices, solution diagrams, implementation methodologies, and BOQs.
Vendor & Technical Coordination:
Collaborate with vendors and distributors to secure competitive pricing, quotations, and advanced technical specifications.
Risk & Gap Analysis:
Identify IT infrastructure gaps, security risks, technical assumptions, and deviations in project scopes and tender documents.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Educational Background:
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Work Experience
More than
2 years
of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity presales or technical deployment, preferably including team leadership experience.
Required Certifications:
Relevant
certification in cybersecurity
is mandatory.
Required Skills & Competencies
Proven experience in technical proposal preparation and customer-facing technical engagements.
Solid background in network security, IT infrastructure, and security frameworks.
Excellent adaptability, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
