Job Summary
The Electrical Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works at construction sites, ensuring strict adherence to quality and safety standards, managing crews, and supporting the timely execution of electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, assign, schedule, and supervise electrical work crews and site activities.
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, lighting, switchgear, transformers, meters, and equipment.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.
Monitor material availability, prepare cost and material estimates, and project projections.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, drawings, plans, and specifications.
Train and guide electricians and helpers on proper work procedures and safety practices.
Coordinate effectively with Site Managers, design engineers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Troubleshoot complex electrical problems and provide practical technical solutions.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Education
Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Science, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience, including previous supervisory or lead experience in a construction environment.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, materials, tools, and installation standards.
Excellent ability to interpret technical drawings and blue prints.
Strong communication, coordination, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
