Job Summary
The Programmer is responsible for assessing and analyzing business requirements, as well as designing, developing, and implementing software applications. The role involves writing clean code, maintaining existing software, collaborating across the software development life cycle, testing and debugging applications, and providing technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and analyze business requirements, and design, develop, and implement software applications accordingly.
Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code while maintaining and improving existing software.
Collaborate with designers, analysts, and other developers throughout the software development life cycle.
Test and debug applications to ensure functionality and efficiency, participate in code reviews, and follow best practices.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, stay current with emerging technologies, and perform other related duties as assigned.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Education
BSc in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, with proven experience as a programmer or software developer.
Required Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript) and experience with databases such as SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Django, ASP.NET), alongside knowledge of mobile app development.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
