Job Summary
The Assistant Customer Strategy Planning (CSP) Manager – BWPC reports to the CSP-BWPC Manager and is responsible for driving category growth through superior shopper activation, demand generation, visibility excellence, and seamless deployment of execution assets across all channels. The role acts as a bridge between Brand, Customer Development, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Field Sales teams to translate brand and commercial strategies into impactful in-market execution. Furthermore, the position is accountable for planning, producing, deploying, tracking, and optimizing all activation and visibility investments to drive profitable growth, market share, and penetration.
Key Responsibilities
Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly activation calendars aligned with category priorities, innovation launches, seasonal peaks, and cultural moments, while designing channel-specific activation programs for Modern Trade, General Trade, Wholesale, Cosmetics Stores, Pharmacies, and emerging channels.
Develop shopper-centric demand generation initiatives to stimulate trial, recruitment, repeat purchase, and premiumization, while leveraging consumer and shopper insights to improve activation effectiveness.
Lead the execution of all national and regional activations, coordinate Brand Ambassador (BA) deployment, route planning, training, and performance management, and monitor activation productivity.
Support the negotiation and execution of activation commitments with key customers and strategic partners through Joint Business Planning (JBP), tracking ROI and commercial effectiveness.
Develop visibility plans and standards by outlet type and channel to maximize share of voice and category leadership.
Lead production planning and procurement of all visibility materials, manage end-to-end dispatch and deployment to regions and key distributors, and implement asset tracking systems.
Conduct regular market visits and audits to monitor On Shelf Availability (OSA), Share of Shelf (SOS), Perfect Store compliance, planogram adherence, activation quality, and visibility compliance.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales Management, Business, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
