Job Summary
The General Foreman is responsible for coordinating and supervising all project works, crews, and other resources, providing day-to-day oversight and direction to the project work crews. The role ensures that daily construction activities align with project plans, quality standards, schedules, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Understand project work plans, designs, specifications, and construction layouts to schedule tasks and resource requirements effectively.
Translate project schedules into daily tasks, assign duties to work crews, and assess measurements before work commences.
Oversee, follow up, and coordinate crew actions while monitoring resource availability, usage, and productivity.
Ensure a safe work culture, enforce standard operating procedures, and verify that completed tasks meet required quality specifications.
Identify, verify, and report schedule conflicts, work interferences, or potential problems to the Project Manager or building engineering unit.
Manage crew performance, handle development needs, and prepare required performance and accident reports.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Education
B.Sc. Degree in COTM (Construction Technology and Management), Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
