Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail
oriented and experienced Accounts Officer to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up
to
date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies.
Process payments to suppliers, employees, and other stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
Prepare and send invoices to customers, and follow up on outstanding payments.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Salary range: N350,000 – N500, 000
