Bachelor?s degree in any field required
Practical experience editing for print publications preferred
Expert knowledge of AP Style and editorial best practices
Excellent written communication and proofreading skills
Strong news judgment and ability to identify factual errors or omissions
Proficient with content management systems and pagination software
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize workflow and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented with strong sense of accuracy and quality control
? Knowledge of newspaper page layout/design considered a plus
