Provide strategic and analytical support to enhance YCDF''s organizational structures, project delivery, and business processes. Lead strategic plan formulation, write grant proposals for resource mobilization, establish performance KPIs, conduct market/policy research, and facilitate stakeholder partnerships across government and private sectors.
Key Roles & Operational Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Organizational Development
Facilitate the formulation, execution, and review of multi-year strategic plans, annual work plans, and operational workflows.
Draft and refine organizational policies, governance standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Assess organizational structures and operational workflows, implementing change management and restructuring strategies to increase efficiency.
- Business Analysis, Research & MEAL
Perform market, institutional, and economic analyses to guide evidence-based leadership decision-making.
Develop analytical reports, policy briefs, and executive KPI trackers in coordination with the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) team.
Lead lessons-learned exercises and organizational performance assessments to champion continuous improvement.
- Business Development & Resource Mobilization
Identify new funding streams, donor calls, and strategic partnership opportunities across the NGO and private sectors.
Conceptualize and draft high-quality grant proposals, project concept notes, implementation plans, and budgets.
Represent YCDF in high-level technical meetings, donor consultations, and multi-stakeholder forums.
- Project Management & Capacity Building
Support end-to-end project design, operational monitoring, and midterm reviews for youth development initiatives.
Design and deliver internal training programs, SOP workshops, and technical assistance for YCDF staff and partners.
Qualifications & Prerequisites
Educational Requirements
Degree:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Management, Economics, Public Administration, Organizational Development, Development Studies, or a closely related discipline.
Experience Requirements
Analyst Level:
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience conducting business analysis, strategic planning, or operational support.
Consultant/Senior Level:
Minimum 6 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in consulting, program strategy, or organizational development.
Sector Preference:
Previous background with international or local NGOs, strategy consulting firms, government institutions, or development agencies is highly desirable.
