Online Translator
The Online Translator engages in individual-level contractual service agreements to provide translation services for children’s letters from Amharic and/or Afaan Oromo local languages into English through the Letter Translation Exchange (LTE) website. Translators use their own computers and internet services to complete virtual translation assignments.
Key Responsibilities
Translate children''s letters from Amharic and/or Afaan Oromo into English via the Letter Translation Exchange (LTE) website.
Complete translation assignments independently using personal computers and internet services.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Educational Background:
BA degree in English, Communication, Journalism, or related fields.
Work Experience
Experience in a related field is preferred, alongside fluency in local languages and English.
Required Skills & Competencies
Fluency in Amharic and/or Afaan Oromo and English.
Core skills in translation.
