Job Summary
Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the organization''s learning and development activities. The role involves identifying individual, departmental, and organizational training needs through comprehensive skills gap analyses, developing learning plans and materials, facilitating training programs, assessing post-training effectiveness, and aligning all initiatives with organizational objectives and employee competency requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Training Needs Assessment & Gap Analysis:
Conduct individual, departmental, and organization-wide Training Needs Assessments (TNA) and skills gap analyses to identify knowledge and competency deficiencies.
Training Planning & Coordination:
Develop annual training plans and calendars, coordinate internal/external training programs, manage logistics, and handle induction, technical, functional, compliance, leadership, and soft-skills training.
Training Material Development & Delivery:
Prepare presentations, manuals, handouts, and assessments, adapt content as needed, facilitate workshops, and continuously improve methodologies.
Training Evaluation & Effectiveness:
Conduct post-training feedback evaluations and effectiveness assessments to determine the practical application of acquired knowledge in the workplace.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate training records and databases, track participation, completion, costs, KPIs, and prepare periodic management reports and dashboards.
Employee & Organizational Development:
Collaborate with department heads to support employee career development, leadership initiatives, succession planning, and a continuous learning culture.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Education, or Organizational Development.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of direct professional experience as a Training & Development Officer, Learning & Development Expert, or in a similar role (experience in the insurance or financial services industry is an advantage).

Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and project management skills with strong analytical capabilities.
