ABOUT THE ROLE
Next Logistics PLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Customs Assessor to join our team in Addis Ababa. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in customs clearance procedures, valuation, and regulatory compliance to ensure efficient handling of import/export operations.
About You
KEY QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in customs assessment.
Technical Expertise:
Proven experience with the Electronic Single Window (ESW) system and Value Valuation Database (VDD).
Thorough knowledge of current Ethiopian customs laws, rules, regulations, and tariffs.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
