Job Summary
MMI is seeking a Project Associate & Digital Publisher to support its digital communications, content production, and project implementation activities. The role manages the organization’s website and social media platforms, produces photographic and video documentation, creates written and visual content, and provides coordination support for project visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Content & Website Management:
Develop, write, and publish digital stories, news updates, and success stories while maintaining and updating MMI’s website and content calendars.
Social Media Management:
Plan and execute social media strategies, schedule posts, monitor audience engagement, and analyze performance across platforms.
Photography & Videography:
Produce high-quality photo and video documentation of organizational events, interviews, and project activities, including filming, editing, and archiving media.
Project Communication & Visibility:
Work with project managers to implement visibility plans, ensure donor compliance, and prepare communication materials for events and reports.
Project Implementation Support:
Assist with event coordination, stakeholder communication, data collection for documentation, and logistical support as needed.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communication, Digital Media, Marketing/Communications, Public Relations, Multimedia, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
Demonstrated practical experience in digital publication, content creation, social media management, website administration, photography, and video production.
Required Skills
Technical Skills:
Video editing, photo editing, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), website CMS, and digital communication/social media tools.
Core Competencies:
Strong written and verbal communication in English, storytelling, time-management, interpersonal skills, and professional ethics regarding copyright and consent.
Desired Skills:
Graphic design, storytelling, creativity, strong teamwork, and communication/coordination/facilitation skills.
