Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Mathematics Teacher to foster mathematical literacy, logical reasoning, and critical problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will inspire confidence in students across various math levels—ranging from foundational algebra and geometry to advanced calculus and statistics—making complex concepts clear and approachable.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, structured lessons in core mathematical disciplines (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Statistics).
Teach step-by-step problem-solving techniques and encourage logical, analytical thinking.
Assess student performance through homework, problem sets, diagnostic tests, and cumulative examinations.
Differentiate math instruction to support students who require extra help while challenging advanced learners.
Integrate educational technology, such as dynamic graphing tools and interactive displays, into daily lessons.
Maintain an orderly, encouraging classroom environment where students feel comfortable taking academic risks.
Track academic progress and communicate regularly with parents, department heads, and school counselors.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related quantitative field (Master’s degree preferred).
Licensure:
Valid state or national teaching credential for secondary mathematics.
Experience
2+ years of experience teaching middle school or high school mathematics preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with graphing calculators, mathematical visualization software (e.g., Desmos, GeoGebra), and learning management systems.
Soft Skills:
High patience, exceptional step-by-step explanatory skills, strong classroom management, and an encouraging demeanor.
