YellowDoor Hotels is a boutique executive property in Abuja where guest safety is non-negotiable. As our sole Lifeguard at The pool, you will be the first and last line of defence for every guest in the water. This role suits a disciplined, certified professional who takes pool surveillance seriously and acts without hesitation when it matters most.
Responsibilities
Maintain unbroken visual surveillance of the pool throughout every shift
Enforce pool rules firmly and professionally with all guests, every time
Respond immediately to emergencies - rescue, first aid, CPR, and escalation
Conduct daily checks of all lifesaving and emergency equipment and log findings
Record all incidents, rescues, and safety concerns accurately and promptly
Coordinate with Pool Attendant and management to sustain a safe pool environment
Requirements
2-5 years of experience
Active Lifeguard Certification (RLSS, Red Cross or equivalent)
First Aid Certification
CPR Certification
Water rescue technique
Incident and hazard documentation
Pool safety rule enforcement
Lifeguard certification (active)
CPR certification (active)
First Aid certification (active)
Water rescue techniques
Incident log and equipment check documentation
Pool safety regulation knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a hotel or hospitality pool setting
Familiarity with water quality monitoring
