Job Summary
The Finance Manager leads and oversees all financial operations, strategic budgeting, and regulatory compliance for the East African Special Economic Zone. Operating at a senior management level, the role ensures robust internal controls, manages statutory reporting and audits, implements IFRS standards, and drives financial performance across industrial park development and commercial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Reporting:
Lead all financial functions, preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Develop and monitor comprehensive budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow plans to support business strategy.
Taxation & Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with Ethiopian tax laws, financial regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
Internal Controls & Audits:
Establish and maintain strong internal controls while managing external audits and relationships with auditors.
Team Leadership & Strategy:
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, providing strategic financial analysis and investment recommendations to management.
IFRS Implementation:
Train staff on and successfully implement International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) across operations.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Education
Bachelor''s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
(Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is a strong added advantage)

Experience
Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 3 years served in a managerial position.
(Experience in industrial park development, real estate, manufacturing, or trading sectors is preferred).
Required Skills & Competencies
Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS, taxation, financial reporting, and cost-reduction analysis.
Strong leadership, strategic decision-making, and stakeholder management abilities.
Required Skill Tags:
