Key Responsibilities
Safely transport cleaning staff, equipment, and supplies to client sites and back to base.
Ensure timely arrival at job sites in line with scheduled cleaning contracts.
Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned company vehicle.
Conduct routine checks (oil, water, brakes, tires, fuel) and report mechanical issues promptly.
Keep accurate mileage, fuel consumption, and trip records.
Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company driving policies, and safety standards.
Assist with loading/unloading cleaning materials and equipment.
Support the logistics team in dispatching urgent supplies or documents.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when transporting staff or sensitive materials.
Liaise with the Operations Manager on route planning, time management, and vehicle scheduling.
Core Competencies
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving techniques.
Familiarity with Lagos and Abeokuta routes (or operational city routes).
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with staff and clients.
Reliability, punctuality, and a high sense of responsibility.
Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting.
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or public holidays when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of SSCE (Senior Secondary Certificate Examination).
Valid driver’s license (Class appropriate for company vehicle).
Minimum of 3–5 years’ professional driving experience, preferably in the corporate or service industry.
Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic repairs.
Ability to read and write for recordkeeping and communication.
Physical fitness to assist with equipment handling.
Note: Applicants must be living within the Abijo GRA and Awoyaya areas.
