About the role
The MERL Officer will lead the organisation''s monitoring, evaluation, research and learning functions by producing concept notes and research designs; designing MEL frameworks and developing and pretesting data collection tools, coordinating assessments, ensuring data quality, analysing qualitative and quantitative data, producing performance and stakeholder reports, documenting lessons learned, and promoting evidence-based and adaptive programming.
Qualification:
The ideal candidate must possess a Masters or PhD degrees in Sociology, Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies or a related field, with at least four (4) years'' relevant experience in the development sector.
Requirements
Applicants should have strong data analysis, research, report writing and skills, with proficiency in Excel, Epi-Info, NVivo or AI-enabled reporting tools.
