Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the center by executing comprehensive sanitation, waste management, and infection prevention protocols. The role ensures that patient rooms, offices, waiting areas, and specialized clinical spaces adhere strictly to organizational hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
General Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors, dust furniture and fixtures, clean windows, and empty waste bins across patient rooms, offices, and public spaces.
Sanitation & Infection Control: Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, adhere strictly to MSIE infection prevention policies, and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly.
Specialized & Terminal Cleaning: Perform terminal cleaning of patient rooms post-discharge and maintain operating rooms and recovery areas according to clinical protocols.
Waste Management: Safely collect, segregate, and dispose of general, hazardous, and medical waste in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Supply & Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and replenish restroom and room supplies, maintain cleaning equipment, and report maintenance needs promptly.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Education: Completion of Grade 8 or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in cleaning, janitorial, or sanitation roles (healthcare facility experience preferred).

Strong sense of hygiene, physical stamina for cleaning and lifting, and adherence to safety protocols.
