Job Summary
Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and supervising public facility strengthening operations within the area programs office. The role involves providing technical support, clinical quality mentorship, and training to public health facilities in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services, ensuring compliance with donor agreements and program standards, and compiling regular performance reports.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure public facility strengthening programs are implemented in accordance with approved donor agreements and organizational program standards.
Conduct regular supportive supervision, clinical quality improvement activities, competency assessments, and internal audits across supported facilities.
Provide on-the-job training, mentorship, and coaching on SRH services (including CFP/PAC and postpartum family planning) to healthcare providers.
Evaluate progress against targets and KPIs, distribute commodities and medical supplies, and review service data for entry into online reporting systems.
Document and disseminate best practices, coordinate training programs for public facility providers, and prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Education
BSc, MSc, or MPH in Nursing or Public Health (Certificates in SRH/FP, CAC, and nutrition are required).
Experience
Minimum of 4 years of related experience for MSc holders, or 6 years of related experience for BSc holders.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of government health policies, regional frameworks, and major donor requirements.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
