About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
to lead the financial management, reconciliation, and strategic financial planning of a growing fintech company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, proven experience in senior financial leadership, and the ability to ensure accurate financial records, effective controls, and sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee financial reconciliation across bank accounts, payment platforms, digital transactions, and settlement accounts.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, profitability, and overall financial performance.
Establish and strengthen internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
Oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, audits, and regulatory compliance.
Identify financial risks, improve financial processes, and implement reconciliation automation where appropriate.
Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and senior management to support business decisions and growth.
Lead and develop the Finance and Accounting team.
Manage relationships with banks, auditors, payment partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
About You
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or a related field.
A master's degree or professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA is an advantage.
At least 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
Previous experience as a
Senior Finance Manager, Head of Finance, Finance Director, CFO, or in an equivalent senior leadership position
.
Experience in fintech, digital payments, banking, financial services, or a transaction-intensive business is strongly preferred.
Proven expertise in financial reconciliation, financial controls, reporting, and strategic financial management.
