Job Summary
Responsible for developing computer-aided design (CAD) markers, optimizing fabric utilization, and reviewing pattern and marker plans to ensure full production readiness. The role involves analyzing fabric consumption, ensuring high efficiency in material usage, and mentoring junior associates in technical design and marker-making workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Develop accurate CAD markers and optimize fabric utilization to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
Review pattern and marker plans prior to production release.
Analyze fabric consumption data to support cost estimation and material planning.
Ensure complete production readiness for manufacturing floors.
Mentor and train junior associates in CAD operations and pattern techniques.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Education
Degree in Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, Fashion Design, or a related field.
Experience
2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in marker planning and CAD operations.
Required Skills & Competencies
Expertise in marker planning, fabric consumption analysis, pattern making, and grading.
Proficiency in CAD software such as Gerber, Lectra, Optitex, or Tukatech, complemented by advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
