Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced National Sales Manager – Construction Chemicals to drive revenue growth, market expansion and distribution across Nigeria.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in construction chemicals/building materials, excellent distributor and contractor relationships, and a proven record of delivering sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the national sales strategy and achieve revenue targets.
Build and manage distributors, dealers, contractors and key accounts nationwide.
Drive product specification with architects, developers, consultants and project owners.
Identify and convert major construction and infrastructure projects.
Expand market penetration and develop new territories and sales channels.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing and customer insights.
Lead, coach and manage the national sales team.
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and performance reports.
Collaborate with Marketing, Production, Supply Chain and Finance teams.
Drive customer retention, profitability and overall commercial growth.
Requirements
Bachelor''s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Building Technology or related field.
8–12 years'' sales experience, preferably in construction chemicals or building materials.
Proven track record managing national sales/distribution operations.
Strong network of distributors, dealers, contractors and construction-industry stakeholders.
Experience with adhesives, grouts, waterproofing, mortars, sealants or related products is highly preferred.
Strong negotiation, business development and team leadership skills.
Commercially driven with strong knowledge of the Nigerian construction market.
Willingness to travel extensively across Nigeria.
