Job Summary
Ethiopian Airlines Group is seeking a Dean for the School of Aerospace Management & Operations on a fixed-term contract basis to lead the academic school, oversee administrative and educational programs, and ensure the successful delivery of aviation management curricula.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and academic direction for the School of Aerospace Management & Operations.
Manage school operations, oversee educational programs, and guide staff and faculty development.
Qualifications
Education
Ph.D. or other terminal degree in a relevant field such as Aviation Management, Aerospace Operations, Business Administration (with an aviation focus), earned in residence through a full-time program at an accredited institution, or a related field of study. A diploma or above in aviation-related training is preferable.
Experience
For candidates with a Ph.D. or terminal degree, standard academic leadership applies; for candidates with a related field of study, a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience is required, out of which a minimum of 2 years must be in a Head or equivalent capacity.
Language Proficiency:
Knowledge of Ethiopian Airlines working language, English, is mandatory, and other foreign languages are desirable.
