Job Description

The Developer – Oracle Cloud ERP – Human Capital Management role is a senior technical leadership position within our Shared Services department. You will own the end-to-end Oracle Cloud HCM solutions, translating enterprise workforce priorities into robust and integrated technology. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping secure, scalable, and employee-centric solutions across Core HR, Talent Management, Payroll, Benefits, and Workforce Management.

Responsibilities

Role purpose:

To provide senior technical leadership and end-to-end ownership of Oracle Cloud HCM solutions across the enterprise ERP landscape. The role translates enterprise workforce priorities into secure, scalable and integrated technology solutions across Core HR, Talent Management, Payroll, Benefits and Workforce Management.

The role is accountable for solution architecture, complex development and integration, technical governance, service reliability, data integrity, release quality and continuous improvement. It acts as a trusted technical adviser to HR, Technology, Finance, Risk, Internal Audit and implementation partners, ensuring Oracle Cloud HCM capabilities deliver measurable business value, strong controls, regulatory compliance and a simple employee experience.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

:

Lead HCM technical architecture and solution design in line with Oracle Cloud best practices.

Manage technical releases, deployments, testing, and production validation.

Mentor developers and ensure coding standards, quality, and reusable solutions.

Design, develop, customize, and implement Oracle Cloud ERP HCM solutions aligned with business requirements.

Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with HR business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders.

Develop, test, and deploy HCM integrations, interfaces, reports, extracts, workflows, and extensions

Provide application support, troubleshooting, debugging, and timely resolution of technical issues.

Configure and maintain HCM security roles, profiles, and access controls.

Prepare and maintain technical specifications, solution designs, test plans, and deployment documentation.

Support data migrations, system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and release activities.

Provide technical guidance, end-user support, and knowledge transfer to ensure effective system adoption.

Contribute to process improvements, change initiatives, and optimization of HR technology solutions.

Evaluate emerging Oracle Cloud HCM capabilities and recommend innovative solutions to enhance HR operations and employee experience.

Provide technical leadership across programs, projects and releases, including planning, estimation, risk management, testing, deployment, cutover, rollback and hyper care

Partner with process owners to simplify HR processes and improve employee experience through workflow, self-service, automation and digital capabilities.

Lead technical engagement with system integrators, managed service providers and Oracle specialists, ensuring quality, delivery and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Human Resources Information Systems or a related field.

Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in enterprise applications or HCM technology, including at least 4 years of hands-on Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud delivery, integration or senior application ownership.

Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM certification in one or more relevant modules.

Oracle Integration Cloud or equivalent integration/API certification.

Strong practical knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM architecture and relevant modules, including Core HR and working knowledge of Talent, Payroll, Benefits and Workforce Management.

Advanced experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, REST/SOAP APIs, HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL, BI Publisher, OTBI, Fast Formula, SQL and PL/SQL.

Experience with role-based security, data roles, segregation of duties, audit controls and secure integration design.

Experience with data migration, environment management, quarterly update testing, release management, incident/problem management and production support.

Working knowledge of Agile delivery, DevOps, source control, automated testing, IT service management and enterprise architecture governance.

Excellent written and verbal communication, technical documentation, facilitation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.

Desired

Experience supporting cloud HCM in a large, regulated or multi-entity organization with complex payroll and statutory interfaces.

Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, identity and access management, data privacy, analytics or middleware technologies.

ITIL, TOGAF, Agile/Scrum, DevOps, project management or information-security certification.

Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors, Workday or other leading HCM platforms.

Experience in complex, enterprise-scale transformation environments.
