Job Summary
KPMG is currently seeking Procurement & Purchasing Support Officers to support procurement activities for goods and services through effective purchase order management, sourcing support, and stakeholder coordination to ensure timely and efficient supply chain execution.
Requirements
You’re a strong candidate if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline; with a minimum of Second-Class Lower (2.2) GPA.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft excel and ERP/SCM systems will be an added advantage
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, APICS/ASCM, Six Sigma) will be an advantage.
Experience working in oil & gas, energy, or large industrial environments is preferred.
You’ll help our oil and gas clients succeed by:
Executing procurement activities for goods and services in accordance with approved procurement plans and business requirements.
Preparing, issuing, amending, and monitoring purchase orders through to completion
Supporting sourcing events, RFQs, supplier evaluations, and supplier selection process
Monitoring procurement cycle timelines and follow-up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
Coordinating with requestors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to support procurement execution.
Maintaining procurement documentation and purchasing records in line with governance requirements
Supporting resolution of purchase order, supplier, and delivery-related issues
Monitoring procurement transactions and supporting issue resolution activities.
Supporting operational continuity through timely procurement delivery
Supporting procurement reporting, spend analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
