Job Description / Key Responsibilities Team Lead
Specific Tasks:
Provide technical support in the planning, coordination, and implementation of the Independent Monitoring.
In collaboration with the M&E and Community Entry Officer and GIZ SEPIN-SUSI SP team, simplify and translate policy frameworks into user-friendly formats for diverse audiences.
Support the rollout and socialization of social protection frameworks, policies and strategies/manual at state and community levels.
Coordinate field activities including sensitization campaigns, workshops and stakeholder meetings.
Ensure interventions are inclusive, gender-sensitive, and responsive to vulnerable populations.
Ensure integration of learning and adaptive management into programme implementation.
Support the development of monthly and quarterly reports.
Ensure alignment of programme activities with the consultancy assignment.
Any other task that may be assigned to you by the Team Lead or the GIZ staff responsible for the consultancy.
Requirements
Bachelor''s Degree in Social Policy, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, Social Work or a related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in social protection, programme management, governance, social policy, institutional strengthening or community-based development.
Experience working in Borno/Northeast Nigeria and with government or international development partners is highly desirable.
A Master''s degree and proficiency in Hausa/Kanuri will be an added advantage.
Ability to engage with community members, partners, government and other stakeholders in a respectful manner (essential).
Initiative, flexibility, team spirit, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
Ability to work under time pressure, independently and with limited supervision.
Computer literate and good level of numeracy
Ability to speak Hausa Language is mandatory.
