KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and deliver Business Studies lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
Teach key business concepts, including entrepreneurship, office practice, commerce, bookkeeping, and business management.
Develop lesson plans that foster critical thinking, innovation, and problem-solving skills.
Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
Prepare students for BECE, WAEC, NECO, and internal examinations where applicable.
Use practical examples and real-world business scenarios to enhance learning.
Maintain accurate records of student achievement and performance.
Encourage students to develop entrepreneurial and leadership skills.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Business Education, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Education, or a related field.
Relevant teaching certification may be required.
Experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary school level is preferred.
Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
Ability to engage students through practical and interactive teaching methods.
Familiarity with both the Nigerian and Cambridge curricula is an added advantage.
Demonstrated 21st-century teaching skills.
TRCN certification is an added advantage.
