Familiar with the procedures and regulations of the Ethiopian Investment Commission, Customs, Labor Bureau, Tax Authority, Environmental Agency, Housing and Construction Department, and Land and Minerals Department, capable of independently managing project initiation, registration, compliance reviews, annual inspections, and policy applications
Familiar with local labor laws, employment compliance, social insurance, foreign employee visa and work permit procedures, as well as residence permit processing. Capable of managing local HR compliance for both Chinese and expatriate employees;
Fluent in English speaking, listening, reading, and writing, capable of independently drafting official English correspondence, conducting government negotiations, translating documents, and communicating on international affairs;
Possesses strong public relations and external liaison skills, adept at maintaining government-enterprise relationships, capable of promptly tracking local policy changes and regulatory requirements to proactively mitigate project compliance risks;
Possesses the ability to handle official documents, organize meetings, manage archives, coordinate logistics, maintain inventory records, and oversee daily administrative operations;
Familiar with governance models of foreign-invested joint ventures, highly confidential and execution-oriented, capable of supporting collaborative work among multi-national teams;
familiar with the local social environment, and capable of efficiently handling unexpected external liaison matters related to the project; Upright character, good local reputation, no record of violations or illegal activities,
Proficient in using Office software, capable of independently creating various administrative reports, presentation materials, and government application documents.
General On boarding Requirements
Ethiopian local legal citizen with complete identification documents, no criminal record, and capable of long-term, stable full-time employment;
Recognize the management philosophy of Sino-foreign joint ventures, comply with company rules and regulations, and cooperate effectively with both Chinese and foreign teams;
Possesses strong professional ethics, a strong sense of responsibility, effective communication skills, and high stress tolerance, capable of adapting to the demanding work pace during factory construction.
