About the Job
The Wellness/Marketing/GP position at Teklehaimanot General Hospital is a full-time, entry-level role designed for recent medical graduates or junior doctors with an interest in preventative health and community outreach. This hybrid position bridges clinical knowledge with marketing strategy. The GP will assist in promoting hospital wellness programs, creating health education content, and providing general medical support under the supervision of senior physicians. The role is ideal for a creative, health-focused individual looking to build experience in both clinical practice and healthcare marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Wellness & Clinical Support:
Assist in conducting basic health screenings and wellness assessments BMI, blood pressure, glucose checks for patients and corporate clients.
Provide general medical consultations under the supervision of senior physicians, focusing on lifestyle counseling and preventative care.
Support the development and implementation of hospital wellness programs and health awareness campaigns.
Collaborate with the medical team to ensure accurate patient documentation and follow-up for wellness participants.
Ensure adherence to clinical safety and hygiene regulations during all patient interactions.
Marketing & Community Outreach:
Assist in creating engaging health education content for social media, newsletters, and brochures, tips on nutrition, diabetes prevention, heart health.
Represent the hospital at community health fairs, corporate wellness days, and marketing events.
Help coordinate internal and external marketing campaigns to promote hospital services and wellness packages.
Gather patient feedback and market insights to help improve service delivery and marketing strategies.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all medical information published is accurate and compliant with healthcare regulations.
Administrative & Professional Development:
Document outreach activities and maintain accurate records of wellness program participation.
Stay updated on current health trends, new wellness technologies, and marketing best practices in healthcare.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to patient experience and community engagement.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Wellness/Marketing Manager or Senior Medical Staff.
About You
Requirements
Degree in Medicine (MD) from a recognized higher educational institution.
Valid professional medical license is mandatory.
Fresh graduates or junior-level candidates with minimal clinical experience are encouraged to apply.
