Key Responsibilities
Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and repair work on equipment and machinery
Inspect and repair damaged or worn metal components and structures.
Read and interpret basic technical drawings and measurements.
Carry out routine maintenance and fabrication work as assigned.
Ensure welding tools and equipment are properly maintained and safely used.
Follow workplace health, safety and operational procedures.
Report equipment defects, safety concerns and maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Requirements
Minimum of a Trade Certificate in Welding/Fabrication or a related field.
Practical experience in welding and metal fabrication.
Ability to use welding machines, cutting tools, and related equipment.
Good understanding of workplace safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, agricultural, or similar environment is an advantage.
Should reside in Anambra or neighbouring states.
