Panthera Restaurant is seeking an experienced, polished, and detail-oriented Waitress to deliver exemplary fine dining service to our guests. In this role, you will take full operational ownership of an assigned station, providing personalized table service, exhibiting comprehensive menu knowledge, and upholding luxury presentation standards. You will ensure every guest enjoys a flawless dining experience while strictly adhering to operational SOPs, safety guidelines, and team workflows.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Take full ownership of an assigned station on the dining room floor, ensuring all tables, chairs, side stands, and place settings are immaculately clean, organized, and set up to luxury presentation standards before and during service.
Provide welcoming, sophisticated, and highly personalized table service to guests, guiding them through the entire dining journey with grace, warmth, and professional etiquette.
Engage proactively with guests to ensure overall satisfaction, handling minor adjustments immediately and reporting complex feedback or complaints to the Head Waiter or Restaurant Manager.
Possess a comprehensive and thorough knowledge of the complete food and beverage menu, confidently explaining ingredients, culinary techniques, flavor profiles, daily specials, and beverage pairings to guests.
Take guest orders with absolute accuracy, using the POS system efficiently to input food, beverage, and special modifications without error.
Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures (SOPs) regarding guest dietary restrictions, preferences, and severe food allergies, communicating these clearly to the kitchen team.
Coordinate seamlessly with the Head Waiter, food runners, and kitchen team to ensure plates are delivered to the correct tables at the perfect temperature and cadence.
Execute shift closing duties efficiently, including clearing stations, wiping menus, restocking service areas, and resetting tables for the next service shift.
Process guest bills and handle financial transactions (cash, cards, or digital payments) accurately and securely, ensuring a seamless and polite departure experience.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of proven waiting/service experience in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or fine dining establishment.
Hands-on experience with POS systems, digital order processing, and payment terminals.
Must stay around Maitama axis and willing to work in shifts (day and night)
Strong capacity to memorize food/beverage ingredients, culinary techniques, and allergen risk factors.
Strong physical stamina, speed, and exceptional composure under high-pressure, fast-paced service conditions (ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for full shift duration).
Flawless verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a strong guest-first service mindset.
