Ibsa hojii

Media in Cooperation and Transition (MiCT) invites travel agencies legally registered and licensed in Tunisia to submit offers for booking round-trip flights to Tunis for fellows from Libya, Algeria and Morocco under its “MiCT Fellowship for Critical Voices 2026–2027” programme. This will be a service contract running from 10 November 2026 to 30 June 2027. Interested agencies are invited to apply by 9 November 2026.

1. Introducing MiCT

Media in Cooperation and Transition (MiCT) is a non-profit organisation that delivers expert media services in complex and challenging contexts with passion, precision, and agility. Through our collaborative work with our partners, we foster transparent, inclusive, and fair dialogue, supporting resilient societies that thrive.

Across three continents and 15 countries, MiCT facilitates the training of journalists and media producers, programme and content development, radio and film production, magazine and book publishing, media research and monitoring, and supporting our partners’ financial viability.

2. The MiCT Fellowship for Critical Voices Programme

Since 2022, the MiCT Fellowship for Critical Voices has supported at-risk journalists and media professionals from conflict regions, enabling them to continue their essential work in safety. The programme is part of the Hannah Arendt Initiative and a member of the Journalists in Distress Network. It offers stipends, security and equipment support, (mental) health services, legal aid, relocation, and professional development through regional hubs.

3. Services required

The fellowship brings participants from North Africa to Tunis for stays of typically two to three months. MiCT is seeking a reliable, transparent and cost-effective travel agency for the 2026 and 2027 fellow groups. The expected volume is small, about 8–9 round-trip tickets per year (maximum 10), mostly from Libya, followed by Algeria and Morocco.
