Limited is looking for a results-driven Marketing Officer / Transport Agent to join our team in Adamawa.
We are seeking someone who understands the local business environment and can actively connect our company with businesses, manufacturers, distributors, traders, farmers, wholesalers and other organizations that require transportation and haulage services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and develop new customers requiring haulage, logistics and transportation services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with businesses and potential clients.
Visit companies, markets, warehouses, factories and other potential client locations to promote our services.
Identify available transport/haulage jobs and opportunities within Adamawa and neighboring states.
Negotiate transportation rates and service terms professionally.
Monitor market activities and identify new business opportunities.
Represent the company professionally in dealings with clients and business partners.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of SSCE/OND/HND/bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Logistics, Transport Management or a related field.
Previous experience in marketing, logistics, haulage, transportation or sales is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of the Adamawa business environment.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Must be proactive, confident and target oriented.
Must be comfortable with field marketing and meeting potential clients physically.
Ability to develop and maintain business relationships.
Must have access to a smartphone and be comfortable using WhatsApp and social media for business development.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
