Job Summary
The Telemarketer is responsible for promoting the company’s loan products to registered civil servants, generating qualified leads, and converting prospects into customers.
The role involves making phone calls, following up with customers, explaining loan products, and supporting field marketing activities.
Responsibilities
Contact registered civil servants by phone to promote the company’s loan products.
Explain loan options, eligibility, repayment terms, interest rates, and requirements clearly.
Generate qualified leads and follow up with interested prospects to drive loan applications.
Meet daily, weekly, and monthly call, lead, and conversion targets.
Respond to customer enquiries and handle basic concerns professionally.
Build and maintain good relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Participate in field marketing, corporate visits, customer outreaches, roadshows, and other promotional activities when required.
Stay updated on company loan products, policies, and procedures.
Follow company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical marketing standards.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE, NCE, or ND from a recognised institution.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence and good telephone etiquette.
Good customer service and relationship-building skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Willingness to learn and work with targets.
Previous sales or telemarketing experience is an added advantage.
Ability to speak Hausa is an added advantage.
