Job Summary
The ideal candidate should identify new sales opportunities, develop customer relationships, and provide technical sales support.
The ideal candidate should have a strong blend of technical knowledge and commercial sales experience, preferably within industrial chemicals, water treatment, manufacturing, engineering, oil & gas, mining, or related industries.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect for and develop new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
Develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers.
Conduct customer visits, onsite analysis, and troubleshooting to understand client needs and recommend suitable solutions.
Convert prospective customer visits and leads into active clients.
Deliver technical sales presentations and provide appropriate product or service recommendations.
Manage the sales process from prospecting through to conversion and account management.
Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates on
business development
activities.
Travel for customer visits and business development activities as required.
Report to the Agege office for meetings, reporting, coordination, training, and other internal activities.
Requirements
2–3 years of experience in B2B technical sales.
Relevant experience in industrial chemicals, water treatment, engineering, manufacturing, oil & gas, mining, or a related technical industry is preferred.
Strong technical understanding and commercial sales capability.
Proven ability to develop new accounts, manage existing customers, and achieve sales targets.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Willingness and ability to travel for customer visits and business development activities.
