Job Summary
Grace Construction Chemicals is seeking a Supply Management Team Leader on a full-time basis to lead inventory planning, control, and supply chain operations in Dukem. The role involves managing demand forecasting, optimizing inventory levels and stock turnover, coordinating procurement and logistics, and leading the supply chain team to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Lead inventory planning and forecasting using historical data and sales trends to optimize stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.
Monitor stock movements, conduct regular audits and cycle counts, and implement inventory management software to ensure high data accuracy.
Coordinate closely with suppliers, procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment and cost-efficient transportation.
Lead, train, and motivate the inventory management team, setting clear performance targets and fostering continuous improvement.
Analyze inventory KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior management, identifying risks, cost-saving measures, and process optimization strategies.
Enforce inventory control policies, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and collaborate with finance on stock valuation.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor''s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree in MBA with a focus on supply chain or operations management is beneficial).
Experience
4 to 6 years of experience in inventory management or supply chain operations, including leadership experience and a strong background in demand forecasting and data analysis within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
