About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven and resourceful Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our end-toend supply chain, import/export operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced
startup environment, is comfortable building and improving processes, and has hands-on experience managing complex supply chain operations, including international procurement, importation, and exportation. Experience in the renewable energy, clean technology, or related sectors is strongly preferred.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring products move efficiently from global and local suppliers to customers while maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy, operational excellence, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Management
Manage the end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, international sourcing, importation, exportation, inbound logistics, warehousing, inventory management, distribution, and last-mile delivery.
Develop and execute supply chain strategies that improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support business growth.
Coordinate and manage import and export activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations,trade policies, shipping documentation, and applicable local and international laws.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, logistics providers, and transportation partners to ensure reliable and timely movement of goods.
Monitor supplier and logistics partner performance and proactively mitigate risks that may impact product availability, import/export timelines, or delivery schedules.
Analyze supply chain performance metrics and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service levels.
Requirements
Bachelor''s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management, and import/export operations.
Previous experience working in a high-growth startup or rapidly scaling business.
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms, inventory control practices, and international shipping processes.
Proven ability to optimize supply chain processes and improve operational performance.
Hands-on experience managing importation and exportation processes, including customs clearance, freight forwarding, shipping documentation (e.g., Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin), Incoterms, and regulatory compliance.
Experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and supplier relationships.
Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment.
Preferred
Experience in the renewable energy, solar, clean technology, manufacturing, or consumer electronics sectors.
Professional certifications such as APICS/ASCM (CPIM or CSCP), CILT, or equivalent.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
Experience managing international sourcing, global procurement, and cross-border logistics across multiple countries and markets.
