Job Summary
Responsible for managing warehouse operations, receiving and inspecting purchased materials, and maintaining accurate inventory stock levels for food processing and trading supplies under the OCHE brand. The role ensures proper storage, accurate material issuance against authorized requisitions, and regular physical stock reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
To initiate purchase requisition for the replacement of stock of all regular stores items whenever the stock level of any item of store approaches the minimum limit fixed in respect thereof.
To check and receive purchased materials forwarded by the receiving department and to arrange for the storage in appropriate places.
To reserve a particular material of a specific used when so required.
To issue materials only in required quantities against authorized requisition notes/material lists.
To check the book balance, with the actual physical stock at frequent intervals by the way of internal control over wrong issues, pilferage, etc
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Education
Diploma in Material Management, Purchase and Supply Management, Property Management, or equivalent field of study; or Technical and Vocational 10+4.
Experience
Up to 2 years of relevant work experience (Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply).
