Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Standby Technician to provide technical support, monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot faults, and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
Carry out routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults and equipment breakdowns.
Respond promptly to emergencies and equipment failures.
Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before breakdown occurs.
Carry out repairs, replacements, and adjustments as required.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, faults, and repairs.
Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and available for use.
Follow all company safety procedures and technical standards.
Work closely with other technical and operations teams to minimize downtime.
Requirements
OND/HND/B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
2–3 years of relevant technical/maintenance experience.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair.
Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency breakdowns.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work shifts, weekends, or extra hours when required.
