About the Role
We are a high-end furniture showroom in Addis Ababa, looking for a Sales Associate. You will be responsible for client reception, product presentation, and order follow-up. We are looking for someone with excellent service awareness, strong approachability, professional appearance, and outstanding face-to-face communication skills.
Experience in furniture, building materials, or high-end retail is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
Client Reception & Sales:
Warmly welcome walk-in clients, understand their needs, introduce furniture materials, dimensions, design concepts, and customization services to close sales.
Display & Maintenance:
Keep the showroom clean and tidy, assist in furniture display, and ensure accurate price tags.
Order Processing:
Assist clients in confirming styles, colors, and dimensions, issue sales receipts, follow up on orders, and coordinate deliveries.
After-sales Follow-up:
Handle client inquiries, maintain good customer relationships, and promote repeat sales.
Data Recording:
Record daily foot traffic, potential client information, and sales data.
About You
Requirements
Education
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
1+ year in retail or customer service;
experience in furniture, home decor, or building materials is highly preferred.
Language Skills:
Good English proficiency
(for expat clients or reporting to Chinese management), fluent in Amharic (Afaan Oromoo is a plus).

Professional appearance, strong approachability, patience, and excellent face-to-face communication skills; service-oriented and a team player.
Skills
Basic office software (e.g., Excel for data entry).
