Job Summary
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the organization''s procurement and purchasing activities in accordance with approved budgets, internal policies, and commercial practices. The role ensures that goods, equipment, materials, and ICT services are procured at optimal quality, quantity, price, and time while maintaining transparency, competitiveness, and effective supplier relationships.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Procurement Planning & Requisitions:
Prepare annual procurement plans, consolidate departmental requirements, review purchase requisitions, and coordinate purchasing timelines.
Sourcing & Quotation Management:
Identify and prequalify suppliers, request quotations, conduct price comparisons, and negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
Order Tracking & Logistics:
Follow up on local and international purchases (including imported ICT equipment), track outstanding purchase orders, and coordinate deliveries with technical and finance teams.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Maintain an updated vendor database, monitor supplier performance and compliance, and resolve delivery or contract disputes.
Inspection & Quality Control:
Coordinate the receipt, inspection, and formal acceptance of procured items while ensuring warranty and after-sales obligations are documented.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Education
Bachelor''s Degree in Procurement & Supply Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience (experience in a Private Limited Company (PLC) environment is preferred).
