Role Purpose
Manage and support complex procurement activities for goods and services required by WAEP''s upstream operations, ensuring competitive sourcing, commercial value, procedural compliance, timely delivery and effective supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute procurement plans and sourcing strategies for assigned goods, services and operational requirements.
Prepare requests for quotation/proposal, tender documents and commercial bid packages in accordance with approved procedures.
Coordinate
bid processes, commercial evaluations, clarifications, negotiations and recommendations for award. •Ensure procurement activities comply with delegated authorities, governance requirements, Nigerian Content obligations and applicable regulations.
Conduct market analysis, supplier sourcing, prequalification and commercial benchmarking.
Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, warranties, payment terms and other commercial conditions to achieve value for money. Prepare purchase orders and procurement documentation and maintain complete, auditable procurement files.
Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, expediting requirements and resolution of commercial issues.
Work closely with technical users, Finance, Legal, Logistics and other stakeholders to ensure timely procurement delivery.
Prepare procurement reports, savings analysis, sourcing status updates and supplier-performance information.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor''s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
Minimum 10-15 years'' relevant procurement/contracting experience, with substantial exposure to upstream oil and gas procurement.
Relevant professional certification such as CIPS or equivalent supply-chain/procurement qualification is strongly preferred
