About the role
We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with strong, practical experience in both
C#/.NET
and
React
.
Practical .NET experience is the highest priority and is a mandatory requirement. The successful candidate must also be comfortable building and maintaining modern React applications and must possess strong JavaScript or TypeScript fundamentals.
This is a hands-on engineering role requiring someone who can take ownership of features from requirements and architecture through implementation, testing, deployment and production support.
Key responsibilities
Design, build and maintain production applications using C#, .NET and ASP.NET Core.
Develop modern frontend applications using React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
Design reliable application architecture and data flows.
Work with relational databases, SQL and data-access technologies such as Entity Framework Core.
Implement authentication, authorization, validation and appropriate security controls.
Handle asynchronous operations, errors, concurrency and application state reliably.
Write unit, integration and frontend tests.
Debug complex problems across frontend, backend and database layers.
Improve application performance, maintainability and accessibility.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards.
Work with Git, CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment processes.
Take ownership of assigned features and communicate progress, risks and technical decisions clearly.
Support and mentor other developers when required.
Investigate unfamiliar technologies independently and apply what has been learned.
Mandatory requirements
Applicants must demonstrate:
Strong commercial experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
Practical experience building production applications with .NET or ASP.NET Core.
Strong React experience in production environments.
Solid JavaScript fundamentals, including closures, scope, asynchronous programming, promises and the event loop.
Working knowledge of TypeScript.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, interfaces, inheritance, abstraction and polymorphism.
Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
Knowledge of SQL and relational database design.
Understanding of database transactions, concurrency and data consistency.
Experience with frontend and backend state management.
Ability to write clean, readable, testable and maintainable code.
Experience with automated testing and systematic debugging.
Good knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
Evidence of owning and delivering substantial production features.
Strong communication, problem-solving and technical judgement.
Ability to learn independently and work with limited supervision.
Ability to commit fully and consistently to a full-time role.
Candidates whose experience is primarily frontend or React, without meaningful practical .NET experience, will not be considered for this position.
Experience level
Applicants should have strong evidence of senior-level production delivery. Five or more years of professional software development experience is preferred, but years alone will not be treated as proof of seniority.
We will place greater weight on the complexity of work performed, personal contribution, production ownership, technical judgement and demonstrated competence in .NET and React.
Preferred qualifications

Experience with Entity Framework Core.

Experience with Azure or AWS.
Knowledge of Docker and containerised applications.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with clean architecture, domain-driven design or similar architectural approaches.
Experience with performance optimisation and production monitoring.
Experience mentoring developers or leading technical delivery.
Experience working on enterprise, logistics, transportation or other operationally critical systems.

This is a full-time position requiring dependable availability and sustained commitment.
We prefer candidates with evidence of stable employment, long-term product contribution or sustained ownership of substantial systems. Candidates currently holding another full-time position or managing multiple ongoing contracts must disclose those commitments during the recruitment process.
