Job Summary
The Vehicle Assembly and Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles imported in CKD/SKD configurations. The role involves following manufacturers’ procedures, performing pre-delivery inspections (PDI), coordinating the work of junior mechanics, maintaining accurate service records, and providing technical guidance to vehicle users. The successful candidate will also support after-sales services and ensure the proper functioning and reliability of vehicles.
About the Job
Receive directions from the Assembly & After Sales Supervisor and organize the work of junior mechanics.
Follow manufacturers’ procedures and assemble components of vehicles imported in CKD/SKD configurations.
Perform PDI.
Conduct regular maintenance on vehicles.
Meet with clients outside Addis Ababa to better understand their concerns and identify issues.
Design a plan of action for all assembly tasks, maintenance tasks, and upgrades.
Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary.
Offer consultation on maintenance and preventive procedures to vehicle users.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education
Auto Mechanic Level III and above
Experience
Three years and above on Vehicles assembly and maintenance, preferably in EV three wheeler/ EV two wheeler import company
