Job Summary
The Secretary provides administrative, secretarial, and clerical support for YCO’s mental health and drug addiction rehabilitation center. Operating within a compassionate multidisciplinary healthcare environment, the role manages documentation, coordinates office communications, maintains organized records, and supports daily administrative workflows to ensure smooth institutional operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily administrative routines, correspondence, phone calls, and official documentation for the organization.
Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems, patient/client records, and administrative databases with strict confidentiality.
Coordinate scheduling, appointments, meetings, and inter-departmental communications across the multidisciplinary team.
Prepare official letters, reports, memos, and administrative schedules as required by management.
Assist in welcoming visitors, clients, and families while upholding YCO''s professional ethics and safeguarding standards.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Education
Diploma or Degree in Secretarial Science, Office Administration, Management, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Experience
Previous administrative or secretarial experience, particularly within healthcare, mental health, or community-based organizations, is an advantage.
Licensing & Standards:
Must demonstrate strong professional ethics, strict confidentiality, and alignment with YCO''s safeguarding policies.
