Description
We are seeking an experienced, energetic and result-oriented Sales Representative / Business Development Executive to drive sales, develop new markets and build strong relationships with poultry farmers, livestock producers, distributors, and other industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve assigned sales targets and grow revenue within the territory.
Conduct regular visits to poultry and livestock farms, distributors and customers.
Generate new customers and business opportunities.
Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers.
Promote poultry vaccines, feed additives, concentrates and related products.
Provide basic technical/product information to customers.
Organise and participate in farmers'' seminars, product presentations, poultry shows, agricultural exhibitions and other promotional activities.
Monitor competitors, market trends, pricing and customer needs.
Follow up on orders, deliveries, payments and outstanding receivables.
Prepare regular sales, market and field activity reports.
Requirements
4–5 years'' relevant field sales/marketing experience in the poultry, livestock, veterinary pharmaceutical, feed or agro-allied industry.
Good understanding of poultry production, farm operations and livestock business.
Proven experience in field marketing and customer acquisition.
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Willingness to travel extensively and visit different farms and customers.
Must be proactive, energetic, disciplined and commercially minded.
A valid driver''s licence/driving ability will be an added advantage.
The ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of the poultry/livestock industry and proven experience marketing and selling products such as:
Poultry vaccines
Feed additives
Feed concentrates
Animal health products
Poultry feeds
Other agro-allied/livestock products
Candidates with backgrounds in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Extension, Agriculture or related fields are encouraged to apply.
