Job Summary
We are looking for a confident, proactive, and customer-focused Sales & Customer Service Representative to join our team in Lagos.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging prospective clients, responding to enquiries, following up on leads, supporting sales activities, and ensuring that clients receive a professional and exceptional experience when dealing with the company.
The role is an on-site position at our showroom and requires the successful candidate to work Saturdays and Sundays.
This is because weekends are an important period for client engagement, as many prospective clients are available to visit our showroom, discuss their projects, and make enquiries.
The successful candidate will work five days per week, with two weekdays designated as off-days.
Responsibilities
Respond to customer enquiries through WhatsApp, phone calls, social media, and other communication channels.
Engage prospective clients, understand their requirements, and provide accurate information about our products and services.
Follow up consistently with leads, enquiries, quotations, and prospective clients.
Convert enquiries into genuine sales opportunities and support the sales process from initial contact through subsequent stages.
Maintain professional and effective communication with existing and prospective clients.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products or services.
Handle customer questions, concerns, and objections professionally.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, follow-ups, and sales activities.
Update CRM and lead-tracking records as required.
Coordinate with the relevant internal teams to ensure client requirements are properly communicated and followed through.
Attend to showroom visitors and support client appointments and walk-in enquiries, particularly during weekends.
Follow up on quotations and pending client decisions.
Support the team in achieving sales targets and improving lead conversion.
Maintain a professional image and uphold Marsand''s premium brand standards in all customer interactions.
Requirements
Previous experience in sales, customer service, client relations, business development, or a related role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confident, professional, and customer-oriented personality.
Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
Ability to understand customer needs and communicate solutions effectively.
Good negotiation and persuasion skills.
Ability to handle customer objections and difficult conversations professionally.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Comfortable using WhatsApp Business, social media platforms, and basic CRM/customer management tools.
Proactive, target-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Willingness and availability to work Saturdays and Sundays is essential.
Experience in furniture, interior design, construction, real estate, or a related industry is an advantage.
Work Schedule:
5 working days per week
Saturday and Sunday are mandatory working days
2 weekdays off per week
On-site role at our showroom in Awoyaya, Lagos
