Job Summary

The RISE Project Field Coordinator will oversee and coordinate the implementation of field-level project activities in accordance with the RISE project proposal, World Vision Ethiopia (WVIE) policies, donor guidelines, and government regulations. The role involves supervising field-level project staff, monitoring physical and financial progress, ensuring efficient use of resources, coordinating with government offices and other stakeholders, and preparing timely reports to support effective project implementation.

Major Responsibilities

Oversee, coordinate, and ensure the rigorous execution of RISE project field-level activities in strict compliance with the RISE project proposal, WVIE policies, donor guidelines, and governmental regulatory frameworks.

Ensure the proper physical and financial implementation of the project as planned within the required timeframe while ensuring the efficient and effective utilization of project resources.

Oversee and supervise the field-level Project Officer and provide the necessary support for the overall implementation of sectoral activities. Ensure that challenges and concerns are properly handled and take immediate action when needed.

Ensure intentional networking with field coordination, ABC, Woreda and Zonal government offices and institutions, non-governmental actors, and other stakeholders.

Ensure the compilation and submission of financial and narrative reports to the Project Manager.

Submit operational plans and regular progress reports to the respective Project Managers and government offices on time.

Required Professional Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a coordinator or management-level position.

Experience in program management, participatory monitoring and evaluation (M&E), community participation, and Participatory Learning and Action (PLA).

Experience in USAID/BHA- and EHF-funded projects is an advantage.

Experience working with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is preferred.

Required Education, Training, License, Registration, and Certification

BA/BSc degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Economics, Development Studies, a WASH-related field, or another related field.

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications

Program management skills.

Knowledge of community participation, Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), and Participatory Learning and Action (PLA).

Fluency in spoken and written English.
